I’m a creative.
And an off-the-chart introvert.
I am constantly tempted to create alone.
This video just shattered any illusions that I can create something better alone than I can in community.
What are you doing alone that would be better done together?

I love this so much…
Joe, as a life long kindergarten/1st grade teacher (29years) I know the power and value of collaboration for young children. However, teachers are notorious for doing things in isolation…especially when creating something for their students to learn/enjoy. By nature I think elementary teachers are more introverted until they get in front of their “little guys” and then they are more personally empowered. What a GREAT example for all of us to remember together we can do great things. Practicing your craft is essential…orchestrating your craft is powerful…collaborating with others…WOW! Thank you for such a unique piece!
Two improvers are better than one.
Even God created with others. He said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. Genesis 1:26
Joe, how I would love to be part of that community again. All my life I have been the “idea” person. I never have had the chance to tell you my whole story, too bad, it would surprise you. I try to stay in touch with the positive people in my life, I have always considered you and Debbie as part of that group. I know you may be one of the busiest people I know but hopefully someday I’ll get the chance to talk to you again. Just a small example. I am recently retired as an R.N. And received multiple awards and rated as the third best R.N. In the Nevada. Also recognized in the top 100 in the United States and world recognition as well. This doesn’t even touch the tip of the iceberg. My personal contact through The Biltmore Foundation were Steve Jobs and Michael Jordan. Please keep in touch. God bless as always, Gregg.
Gregg,
Great to hear from you. I think you sent me a message on FB last week that I forgot to reply to…I will message you and we can set up a phone call to catch up.
This is so good!!!
I’ve been wanting to do a “telephone game” short story for awhile. The difference is that I want to send it around again for each person to edit any section but their own.
Why does the singing guy look like he could be ur brother?
Thanks for sharing, cool video.
THis reminds me of of a talk I heard recently by a guy named Matt Ridley about the power of the collective mind. The main point of his talk was that collaboration from person to person, culture to culture drives innovation, and long term prosperity that benefits everybody.
